Porsche Romania, Porsche Finance Group and Porsche Inter Auto Romania have signed the Romanian Diversity Charter

By signing the Romanian Diversity Charter, all organizations reinforce their commitment to fostering an inclusive culture where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and talents.

“At Porsche Romania, being part of an international company, we experience multiculturalism daily, recognizing and appreciating individual differences, experiences, and contributions. At the same time, we strongly support the necessity of an inclusive workplace living in transformative times that demand new skills, an increased level of collaboration, agility, resilience and innovation.

We are all different and this is a strong competitive advantage because diverse teams achieve better results, are more productive, more innovative, more creative.

Diversity and Inclusion are fundamental to the success of the company, being some of our core values. In accordance with our Code of Conduct we have in focus and invest in the development of a culture of inclusion and of belonging, everyone being empowered to contribute.

Striving to be the preferred employer for our employees and candidates, we permanently search for innovative approaches to retain, attract, and develop our people, giving them the space to express themselves and their passion for automotive, to unlock their limitless potential for growth and client impact, to make our workplace a place of trust, where we meet each other at eye level, where we have honest discussions.

May being the European Month of Diversity, we are happy to sign the Romanian Diversity Charter and join the great family of Romanian companies that share the same values as us. Also, through this we signal, and we reaffirm our commitment to convincingly promote an inclusive work environment in which we support equal opportunities, condemn discrimination of any kind and encourage everyone to personally invest in equity, diversity, and inclusion, with the aim of creating a better future for all of us”, declared Brent Valmar and David Gedlicka, General Managers at Porsche Romania.

Helian Redai, CEO and Christian Strassgschwandtner, CFO, further emphasized the significance of diversity in building successful relationships and fostering a professional culture of mutual respect and productivity.

“At Porsche Finance Group, Diversity being the foundation of a successful relationship, we promote a corporate culture where each can rely on the other, we respect each other, which contributes to creating a work environment where people are more productive and motivated.

Our employees play a vital role in building and ensuring the integrity of the business environment: through their daily actions, through the development of behavioral norms, through social interaction and reciprocity. We promote a policy of equal opportunities and diversity, we have a Code of Conduct, a Whistleblowing system and Stimmungsbarometer, a survey through which identify annually the mood within the organization and we take targeted actions to improve the organizational atmosphere and processes.

We recognized the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace on many levels: for taking better decisions and supporting more creative teams, for a familiar atmosphere in our departments and collaboration based on mutual trust and because it encourages us to talk openly with each other.

Working with people who have different backgrounds and experiences, who look and think differently helps us grow and expand our own perspective. Diversity stimulates innovation and supports our organization to be more agile and resilient.

We are proud to join the Romanian Diversity Charter because we live diversity at Porsche Finance Group, we take on responsibility for the society and it is about WE and not ME. Signing this Charter is a new proof of our commitment to recognizing diverse identities and experiences, promoting diverse leadership and building an inclusive workplace that provides equal rights and opportunities to all employees.”

Alin Tapalaga, General Manager at Porsche Inter Auto Romania, expressed: “Joining the Diversity Charter aligns perfectly with our core values as a company. We are committed to building a workplace where every individual feels valued, respected and empowered to contribute with unique perspectives and talents. We understand that diversity encompasses a wide range of dimensions. Only by recognizing and appreciating these differences, we can create vibrant and dynamic organizations that thrive on collaboration and innovation. By signing the Diversity Charter, we are making a public commitment to promoting equal opportunities and combating discrimination in all its forms. We will actively work towards fostering an inclusive culture where everyone feels safe, supported and able to reach their full potential. This commitment extends beyond our internal operations; it also guides our interactions with customers, suppliers and the community at large and is part of the Evolve 2030 strategy of Porsche Holding.”
